Residential

Franklin Heights - 2101 Belleview, Kansas City, MO

Franklin Heights is a micro development in KCMO’s Westside Neighborhood consisting of four unique modern row houses that are all about the views. I got to shoot the first house in the project, and what a blast it was! The house is all about the view… and a close second is the dramatic staircase. More a work of art than a functional set of steps, the staircase is an experience bringing all levels together. I got to spend quite a bit of time on location, almost two full days. EFBC was generous with the space, allowing me to capture whatever felt right in the moment, as well as getting the shots from our list. We even grabbed a few portraits of the owners chillin’ a la Westside.

Shooting a Parade of Homes Winner

Recent winner of two awards (first place distinctive design, gold winner pick of the parade), B.L. Rieke’s Savannah plan had it all. During my initial client walkthrough, I knew I wanted to arrive early enough to get the lanai + gold course view in perfect light. See how the sun is behind the beam? Yep, that was planned! We shot a handful of wider shots as well as plenty of details to tie the gallery together. Shot for B.L. Rieke Custom Home Builders.

Bold, Eclectic KC Loft

Here are some images I captured of a loft owned by a fun couple that took on designing their new loft. The brass colored coffee table was my favorite item throughout. I knew I had to come up with at least one shot that emphasized it front and center.

Westwood Home by Steve Nuss Interiors

This project by Steve Nuss Interiors features a cozy home for one person in Westwood, Kansas. My favorite part of the home is the small kitchen outfitted with premium appliances, clean white cabinets and a large skylight that breathes in tons of light. The natural light that comes through fills the kitchen with ample amount of light during the day so you can see everything you're doing. Steve's design is in the whole kitchen, including the skylight, appliances, cabinets, counter tops... everything.

We spent half a day capturing the main spaces in the home which all were wonderfully put together.
